Jo Ann Clark continues her 2008 winning streak, managing to fight through the kelp and competition to land a 4th place finish in a highly competitive age group of over 80 women. Jo Ann gives her coach the following seal of approval on her training:
DUSTY!!
You are my coach no matter what!! I am so grateful to have you!! You know, my sis's coach has run her into the ground. Her knees (which have never hurt her before) hurt so bad that she cannot run or ride. She is in chronic pain. And our other friend’s coach had her doing way too much speed work and she now has plantar fasciitis so severe she had to drop out of her goal race last weekend because she can't walk!
But here I am...healthy, happy (and still training hard) thanks to you.

“On Thursday afternoon, Cam almost hit a homerun out of the Metronome (where the professional Minnesota Twins play) and in addition, he scored the only run of the game. If the ball had gone more to the left or to the right field, it would have been out of the park. Of course, at most college parks, it would have been gone, as well.”
